LOGROÑO TO NAVARRETE
A shorter walk! What a pleasure to have a 7km day. This is the way to go.

PAMPLONA TO PUENTE LA REINA
This was just one huge climb up a mountain, but what a view at the top! It’s the famous metal sculptures that you see in every Camino de Santiago guide book. To stand there with them felt like such an accomplishment. I’d dreamt of it, launched a plan, did it, and there we were.

A DAY OFF IN PAMPLONA
Of course we walked down the street where they run bulls. There was an odd sex shop that appeared to sell only very realistic penis and vagina shaped candy. It was puzzling.

The path changes constantly
You can be on the most serene country path for an hour then, suddenly, it’s completely paved with stone for a mile.

Day minus 2
Yesterday while I was at Sports Basement I panicked about running out of food on the Camino and bought a ton of power bars and hydration drinks. I don't know what on earth made me think I would run out of food on the Camino! There's probably a town every 5 miles.

Day minus 17
I thought all the clothes left in my closet would fit in my suitcase. Clearly I had misjudged.
