Day minus 17

I thought all the clothes left in my closet would fit in my suitcase. Clearly I had misjudged.

I’m so close to leaving now. AUGUST 30TH FEELS VERY CLOSE! I’m down to my 20# backpack plus one medium suitcase to ship to Santiago. The main thing in my suitcase is books. I’ve got travel guides, my Murakami novel and blank binders for journaling. There are clothes too. I could ditch the whole suitcase and shop for a new wardrobe in Europe. I can just bring a bag of books to put in storage while I’m on the Camino. I have 17 days to decide!
