The path changes constantly.
You can be on the most serene country path for an hour then, suddenly, it’s completely paved with stone for a mile. The stone-paved road made me feel loved, like someone cared about me enough to pave my way. But that love doesn’t last long and you’re back to rough shale or an impossibly steep stone staircase. Someone painted a little note along the way that helped me go on when I didn’t think I could: WALK DON’T REACH.
